will run from 4pm until 5:30pm. The tree lighting will
occur at 5:15pm. The kids can meet Santa, sing along

ornament. Enjoy thousands of light at the Charles A.
Dana Center of Central Park. This is a free event. |

Holiday Tree at American Museum of Natural History

This year’s Origami Holiday Tree decorations pay tribute
to some of the largest and most impressive animals and
inanimate objects found in the Museum halls through the
art of origami. Volunteers begin folding in July to
complete the 500 creations that will be displayed on the
tree. During the holiday season, volunteers will be on
hand to teach visitors of all ages the art of
origamifolding. |

The 2011 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be lit
for the first time on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, with
live and taped performances from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M., at
Rockefeller Plaza, between West 48th & West 51st Streets
and 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan.
It's the most famous tree lighting in the country! The
74-foot-tall Norway Spruce tree takes 90 gallons of
water per day. |

For more than 83 years the Washington Square Association
has raised holiday spirits by providing a Christmas
tree, holiday lighting and music for the whole community
to enjoy. The Christmas tree under the Arch is lit for

begin at 5:30pm on November 28. This is the city's
largest holiday festival! Winter’s Eve kicks off with a
neighborhood tree lighting ceremony and features free
entertainment, food tastings, in-store activities for
both children and adults, and shopping around and about
this colorful and vibrant neighborhood. |
