with sightseeing at a relaxing pace. The
Central Park & Greenway Bike Tour, departing
from Pier 84, is a 3-hour tour and the best
way to see Central Park. For a shorter
2-hour tour, try the Central Park Loop Tour,
departing from Tavern on the Green. The
Brooklyn Bridge & Hudson River Bike Tour,
also departing from Pier 84, is a 3-hour
tour providing panoramic city views. The
Brooklyn Bridge Neighborhood Bike Tour, also
3 hours and departing from Battery Park,
takes you over the Manhattan Bridge and the
Brooklyn Bridge, exploring both Manhattan
and Brooklyn. Self-guided tours are also

through Central Park. Starting on 6th Avenue
and Central Park South, this tour is a loop
covering the Carousel, Victorian Garden
amusement park, the Mall and the Balto dog
(which is considered to be a kids favorite
place). There are three stops - Strawberry
Fields (the memorial to John Lennon),
Bethesda Fountain and Terrace (the
architectural center of Central Park), and
Cherry Hill (the favorite place for brides).

unique bike tours, including night tours,

tours. They also offer special event bike
tours, such as a ride to the U.S. Open
tennis tournament. Tours are scheduled
anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, which includes
frequent stops for lunch, snacks, photo ops,
etc.; the tours are easy-paced. All tours
include bike rental and helmet (you get a
